Duende

Dolby Atmos binaural render

Duende explores improvised augmented nylon guitar. The guitar is being resonated with dual solid drivers. The solid drivers project live granulated music fragments into the guitar corpus. This technique results in rich evolving soundscapes, which are simultaneously captured over set of studio grade microphones.

Duende recording technique involved a pair of AKG414’s, overhead AT4033’s and one DPA microphone placed inside the guitar. All the tracks acoustic audio stems along with the granulated audio stem mastered in Dolby Atmos.
