The story A Star Stuck in the Cloud comes from a contemporary Aboriginal writer & illustrator John Graham from the Yugambeh clan from Gold Coast, Australia. The visual style is based on original illustrations. Short movie produced, animated and scored by Daniel Bartos. Production done in collaboration with Griffith Film School and FAMU in Prague.
Star Stuck in the Cloud is a story of a ‘troublesome star’, which needs a little help from his friends to get back onto the night sky. The story is also a contemporary fable, which reflects the harsh social reality of Aboriginal clans on the East Coast of Australia.
